“I considered myself an experienced networker, however after completing my Asentiv program I was delighted and surprised in equal measure on how much my results improved.”

I’m a trainer, facilitator, public speaker and coach. I live in the wonderful city of Liverpool which has been my home for 16 years, sharing my life with my wife Fiona and we have been together for 28 years through many adventures, ups and downs, happy times and sad times … that’s life.
When I was very young I enjoyed entertaining people and used to regale our neighbours with impressions of John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger. I suppose I always wanted to be a rock star and this was the beginning of a life long love of music.
As I got older though I found that self-confidence drained away, I felt that school failed me and didn’t allow me to flourish by doing things I was good at. Consequently, I became “average” at most things and settled for “average” for a while.
Eventually someone gave me the chance to become a trainer for a government agency. I really enjoyed the “Train the Trainer” courses and discovering I could stand in front of groups of people and hold their attention and I developed a great reputation. Since then I have always been in training and development and for the last 12 years have run my own business. My driving force is helping people to not settle for average and make sure they get the encouragement that was lacking in the early stages of my career. I want the very best for people and go out of my way to inspire and commit people to take action to get the results they so deserve.
This has allowed me to pursue other interests. I am indeed a musician as well as a distance runner and I am delighted to serve the young people of Merseyside as a Trustee of Merseyside Scouts.
My goal is to have 3 concurrent development strands of my business: Asnetiv, No Guru and NoGuru Online each of these a thriving business.
John The Speaker
My passion is delivering relevant content in an engaging way. When an audience give up their time to learn something new, the very least you can do is to make sure they get full value for their time and their money.
Leadership, management, and building string business relationships are my key topics and I love speaking about them all.
John The Coach
Working in the corporate sector with executives is my area of expertise. Leadership roles can be lonely so being able to help clients understand that it is ok to not have all the answers and then enable them to discover them is truly rewarding.
